In order to fully implement all the program and equipment needs for the Community Center, the Fraser Valley Recreation Foundation is currently seeking financial support through the generosity of individuals, foundation, government entities and businesses to accomplish all of the District’s building goals.   We have already raised $713,000 that is dedicated towards the walking track and pool expansion.   At this time we are seeking funds for furnishings, recreation equipment (e.g. fitness, pool & gymnastics equipment, playground structures, scoreboards, etc.) and remaining building components that are on the wish list, but not in the current budget (climbing wall, for example).

Contributors will be recognized through a large wood tree and ceramic sculpture in the entry way of the Recreation Center.  As soon as the local artist provides a sketch, it will be placed on this website for viewing.

We invite your support for this important community project.  Please see the pledge form or feel free to contact the Foundation if you have more questions or require more information.  Thank you for your assistance and we look forward to seeing you

If you'd like to help support the work of the Fraser Valley Recreation Foundation and bring good health, well-being and fitness to our community, send the donation form (click here to download) and a check to:

Extra Tax Incentives for Donations!

In addition to the Federal charitable contribution deduction, all contributions received after October, 2008 will receive state of Colorado TAX CREDITS!

The Fraser Valley Recreation Center has just been approved as a qualified Colorado Enterprise Zone Project. This means additional Colorado tax savings to everyone who donates. Cash donations receive a 25% state tax credit and in-kind donations receive a 12.5% state tax credit. For example, if you donate $100, you would receive a $25 Colorado tax credit.

The Foundation completes the paper work in triplicate as required by the state. The Enterprise Zone office receives a copy, you receive a copy and the Foundation keeps one on file. You will need this tax form when filing your taxes.
