The Fraser Valley Recreation Foundation was formed in 2006 to assist the Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District in initiating, supporting and continuing recreational programs, cultural events, health and wellness projects and educational opportunities for the benefit and enjoyment of residents and visitors of the Fraser Valley
We accomplish this goal by focusing our efforts in two key areas:
- Raising funds for new and improved facilities in the Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District
- Providing scholarships to children and youth in the Fraser Valley to attend programs of the Recreation District
Our funds are obtained from a number of sources, including grants from charitable organizations and tax-deductible donations from individuals and businesses. Click here for a list of our recent grants and donors.
